DH and I went to a church function last night and won the 50/50! We gave a little more than half of our winnings back to the church but I still have $81 for the challenge. I am also adding another $8 because I am not renewing a magazine subscription. There are already too many subscriptions and I can go to the library and read them whenever I want. So, I have $89 to add to the challenge!

You know, about magazine subscriptions, I did a survey the other day and was offered a free subscription as payment -- I looked at all the choices and simply declined. I really don't want a subscription. Every time I have one, I end up with a pile of unread magazines! I guess I'm just a die-hard book reader.
